Coordinates: Dispatch

Sacramento's historic 1937 Art Deco Albert Winn Fire Alarm Dispatch Station reopens to the public as the site of Coordinates: Dispatch, bringing together more than thirty Sacramento artists in one of Sacramento's largest site-responsive contemporary art exhibitions. Featuring newly commissioned works, the exhibition transforms a long-vacant civic landmark into one of the city's most ambitious contemporary art experiences.

Curated by Faith J. McKinnie

FYI ... these photographs do not do this exhibition justice.  This is an experience that is visual, intellectual, interactive, with lots of moving parts, sounds, videos , projections, dispatch recordings, etc., etc.
