I designed these panels and my cousin Julie & my studio-mate Carolyn did the beautiful embroidery for the
‘25 Million Stitches’ Exhibition' - One stitch for each of the world’s 25 million refugees.
These will be sewn together with all the other panels being embroidered by others, then the tapestry will be exhibited at:

The exhibition date has changed to 2021

Our first full installation will be at the Verge Center for the Arts, 625 S Street, Sacramento, CA
June 12 -August 22nd, 2021
Opening Reception: Saturday, June 12, 5–7pm

Refugee Day is June 20th

Joe Weber, a set designer from Los Angeles, helped us envision what our full installation would look like, in our inaugural show. Each long flags will be comprised of three to five panels attached lengthwise.
